Privacy Policy

Badger ("we", "us") is operated by Badger Merch Ltd. We make physical collectible pins ("badges") that represent achievements you've earned in video games. You can reach us at info@badgermerch.com.

• Account info. Your email address, display name, and avatar.
• Linked gaming accounts. Your Steam ID and persona, Xbox XUID and gamertag, and Discord ID and username when you choose to connect them.
• Achievement data. Which achievements you've unlocked on linked platforms, badges you own, your friend list, your reactions, and the layout of your display board.
• Order info. Shipping address, billing details, and order history. Payments are processed by Shopify; we don't store full card numbers.
• Technical info. IP address, device and browser metadata, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your cart and preferences.

• Run the service — sign you in, show your collection, ship pins.
• Calculate rarity and prevent achievement-boosting fraud.
• Power friend-graph features (mutual badges, reactions, board visibility, co-collect).
• Send transactional emails (orders, shipping, password reset).
• Diagnose and fix bugs, and keep the service secure.

• Shopify — to process payments and manage orders.
• Steam, Xbox, and Discord — read-only API calls to fetch your achievements and friends, scoped by the permissions you grant.
• Our fulfillment partner (3PL) — to manufacture, engrave, and ship your pins. They receive only the data needed for that order.
• Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, and email delivery.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

We use cookies and browser storage strictly to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and store UI preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

You can delete your Badger account at any time from the Profile page (Danger zone). Deletion immediately removes your profile, linked platform connections, friends list, reactions, board layout, and other personal data.

For accounting, anti-fraud, and to enforce our one-badge-per-achievement-per-platform-account rule, we keep an anonymized record of which badges were purchased against which Steam or Xbox account, along with order history. These records are not linked to your Badger account after deletion.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@badgermerch.com.

Badger is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

Your data may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, row-level security on our database) to protect it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
